Saturday School

BHA's Saturday Booster Club helps 3rd - 10th grade students - from any school - strengthen their English language and math skills with credentialed and experienced teachers. Students learn critical reading and cognitive skills, practice verbal communication skills, strengthen writing skills, and receive active guidance and tutoring in math.

Who: 

  • 26 students in 3rd - 10th grade

  • Waitlist when roster is full

When:

  • Every Saturday 9 am - 12 pm

  • January 11th - May 31st, 2025

Where:

  • 450 Connecticut St., San Francisco

  • Free parking lot available

Cost:

  • $360 per month

  • Additional $90 per month for advancing beyond grade level in math

Program

3rd - 6th Grade

  • 50 minutes - Literary Circle led by a credentialed and experienced teacher who will work with students on reading aloud, discussing the content, and writing skills

  • 50 minutes - vocabulary and English Language Arts skills via AI platform with active guidance and tutoring by the same teacher

  • 70 minutes - Math via AI platform with active guidance and support and tutoring by the same teacher

 

7th - 10th Grade

  • 80 minutes - Literary Circle led by a credentialed and experienced teacher who will work with students on reading, discussing the content, debate, writing and public speaking

  • 80 minutes - Math via AI platform with active guidance and support from an experienced tutor with a degree in Math
